Volunteer!
Innovation has been approved by the New York State Board of Regents. We are now looking to expand our collaboration with community members, non-profit groups, schools, churches and other houses of worship and the business community in East Harlem and greater NYC.
We are looking to meet interested parents, students, and community members and share with them our vision of high performing, personalized, safe high school education. If you would like to help build the school, you can let us know how by clicking the link below.
Ways you can contribute:
- Speak to elected officials on the local, state and national level about your passion for Renaissance and solicit letters indicating their support for Innovation. Letters from City Council and State level elected officials are especially helpful.
- Speak to groups of neighbors, civic organizations, and local business people about Renaissance and how they can support Innovation's.
- Encourage parents of middle-school children, especially current 8th grade parents who are eligible for our first freshmen class in 2010-2011, to write a brief letter of support indicating that they would consider enrolling their child at Innovation.
- Use your online social networks to inform and gather together interested parties. These can include networking websites like Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, or MeetUp, RSS services like Twitter, or personal blogs.
- Lend us your skills in programming, design, copy writing or editing
